- MSCs are an attractive source of stem cells for clinical applications. These cells exhibit a multilineage differentiation potential and strong capacity for immune modulation. We have successfully established a method for isolation of MSCs from human umbilical cord (UC). This promising protocol is suitable for research applications of UC-MSCs moreover this established method will be appropriate for clinical applications of UCB-MSCs in the near future.
