The institute was established in 2016 with affiliation to Veer Narmad South Gujarat University. It was inaugurated by Dr. Mahendra Chauhan, Senate Member, VNSGU and well established Ophthalmologist in Surat. Initially there were 38 students which increased to 100 in the year 21-22 and 22-23 batch.
By the generous donation of Dr. Jaya Shah and Dr. Harivadan Shah, renowned Medical personalities settled in UK the dream of academic wing at SRKRC came true.
